Broker Profiles

David Mathieu, CPA, is president of the firm, its designated real estate broker and a realtor.

Mr. Mathieu has been involved with the brokerage of commercial and investment real estate and businesses for twenty-four years.   In addition, he provides a broad array of related commercial real estate and business consulting services. 

Mr. Mathieu has served as a director and as president of the Maine Commercial Association of Realtors and was Maine Commercial Realtor of the Year.  He is past chairman and treasurer of the York County Development Corp., past chairman of the Kennebunk Comprehensive Plan Committee and the Kennebunk Economic Development Committee and past director of the Kennebunk-Kennebunkport Chamber of Commerce.  He is a current member of the Kennebunk Rotary Club, the Maine Commercial Association of Realtors and the Maine Society of CPA’s.  He has been an instructor in commercial real estate for the University of Southern Maine Center for Real Estate Education and in business brokerage for a national business brokerage company.  He and his wife reside in Kennebunk.

 

John Anderson, senior vice president, is a licensed real estate broker and Realtor and is a director of the Maine Commercial Association of Realtors.  Mr. Anderson has an extensive background in marketing and business development and is a candidate for the prestigious Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) commercial real estate designation. 

Mr. Anderson has participated in a large variety of commercial and investment real estate sales and leasing transactions throughout the southern Maine area.  He is a past president of the Kennebunk-Kennebunkport Chamber of Commerce and is a past president and member of the Kennebunk Portside Rotary Club.  He serves on the Kennebunk Downtown Committee and is current chairman of the Kennebunk Downtown Revitalization Committee. 


John B. Robinson, licensed sales agent, is a member of the Maine Commercial Association of Realtors and a candidate for the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation. He holds a bachelor's degree from Harvard and an MFA from Brown.  He has served as a board member of the Maine Writers and Publishers Alliance, a soccer coach for the Portland Area Youth Soccer Association, and French/English translator for newly arrived refugees. He is a regular contributor to the Maine Sunday Telegram.

 


Karen Arel is a licensed real estate broker in both Maine and New Hampshire and rejoined Investcomm in 2005.  Prior to rejoining Investcomm, Karen was Executive Director of the Kennebunk Chamber of Commerce, retiring from that position in 2003. Karen was a commercial real estate broker with Investcomm from 1986 to 1992,  Karen is a past president of the Kennebunk Portside Rotary Club, past board member of the Maine Chamber of Commerce and former co-chair of the Southern Maine Coast Tourism Association. She was awarded the Maine Tourism Award for Public Service in 2002.  Karen holds the GRI real estate designation and has over twenty-seven years of experience in the real estate field.  Karen and her husband reside in Kennebunk.
